The Solis Wi-Fi & Cellular Data Logger is an advanced communication device that bridges the gap between your on-site solar inverter and remote monitoring services. It is engineered for reliability and ease of use, providing users with comprehensive insights into their PV system's performance.
Dual-Network Connectivity for Maximum Reliability: Features both Wi-Fi and 4G Cellular network options. If one connection fails, it can switch to the other, ensuring your system data is always transmitted without interruption. This is crucial for locations with poor or unstable Wi-Fi signals.
Plug-and-Play Installation: Equipped with a standard USB connector, it can be directly plugged into compatible Solis inverters without the need for complex wiring or additional tools. This drastically simplifies the setup process, saving on installation time and cost.
Comprehensive Remote Monitoring: Transmits vital system data—including power generation, inverter status, and historical energy yields—to the SolisCloud monitoring platform. Users can access this information 24/7 via a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
Proactive Alerts and Maintenance: Sends instant push notifications and email alerts for any system faults or performance issues. This enables rapid response to problems, minimizing energy loss and helping to maintain optimal system health and longevity.
Global Coverage and Secure Data Transmission: The integrated 4G SIM card offers wide-area coverage, making it ideal for remote installations. All data is encrypted and securely transmitted to the cloud, protecting your system's information.
Future-Proof Firmware Updates: Allows for over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates via the cloud, ensuring your data logger and connected inverter always have the latest features and security enhancements.

FAQ
Q1:Which Solis inverters and products does this logger work with?
A1:This logger works with the all Solis North American inverter models. The logger comes in two versions, a USB for S6-EH1P(3.8-11.4)K-H-US models, and a 4-pin for all other inverter models.
Q2:How do I access the data from the logger and inverter? Will I need to create an account?
A2: To see the system data, you will need to use the Solis monitoring portal, SolisCloud. This can be done with the mobile application or the website. An account will need to be created to use the portal.
Q3: Where are the SolisCloud servers located?
A3: SolisCloud uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the server is located in Europe.
Q4: Is there a fee for using SolisCloud? Do I need a Solis logger in order to use SolisCloud?
A4: SolisCloud is a free service that is included in the cost of the Solis logger. There are no fees or charges for using SolisCloud. You can use SolisCloud without a logger but you will only be able to view other systems that you have been added to as a guest. If you have an inverter and want to see it on SolisCloud, then you will need a Solis logger for it.
Q5: What do I do if my Wi-Fi password changes or if I switch network providers?
A5:Someone will need to reconfigure the logger to enter the new Wi-Fi password or select the new Wi-Fi network once it is available. This must be performed locally and cannot be done remotely.
Q6: If my Wi-Fi network goes down does the logger or the inverter store data to upload once the Wi-Fi network is back up?
A6:The logger can be configured to automatically switch from Wi-Fi to cellular if the Wi-Fi network has any problems. When the Wi-Fi is restored, the logger will switch back to it. Because of this feature, there should be little to no loss of data. If some data is lost, please contact Solis Support.
